The new hEX S (2025) is a small, simple wired router for a home, a small office, or a lab. It gives you five Gigabit Ethernet ports, and you can use any port as WAN, LAN, or bridge. The 2.5 Gigabit SFP port is there for a faster fibre connection, port 1 takes PoE in, and port 5 can power another device with PoE out. There is also a USB 3.0 port for storage and file sharing, and it all runs on RouterOS v7, so you get VLANs, bonding, and traffic shaping in a compact box you can wall-mount.
