The Enterprise Campus Aggregation sits between access switches and the Core: 48 25G SFP28 ports aggregate distribution and access uplinks, and six 100G QSFP28 ports carry the aggregate to the core, with 3.6 Tbps of switching capacity and 1.8 Tbps of non-blocking throughput. MC-LAG support lets two Aggregation switches pair for a highly available aggregation layer, and a 128,000-entry MAC table with a 24 MB packet buffer suits large campuses. There are no RJ45 data ports and no PoE — every connection is fibre or direct-attach copper via SFP28 and QSFP28 modules. Hot-swappable power supplies, Layer 3 switching with inter-VLAN routing, Etherlighting port identification and a touchscreen with AR management complete the set. Note: this is a full-depth unit — it requires a 4-post rack, or a centre-mount bracket or cantilever shelf on 2-post racks, for optimal support.
