The Enterprise Campus Switch Core is the top of the Enterprise Campus range: 32 100G QSFP28 ports, 6.4 Tbps of switching capacity and 3.2 Tbps of non-blocking throughput, with MC-LAG (multi-chassis link aggregation) so two cores can act as one highly available core pair with no single point of failure. A 128,000-entry MAC table and 24 MB packet buffer suit large campuses with thousands of endpoints. There are no RJ45 data ports and no PoE — every connection is 100G (or 40G fallback) fibre or direct-attach copper via QSFP28 modules, plus a 1 GbE management port and a console port. Hot-swappable power supplies and five hot-swappable fan modules, Layer 3 switching with inter-VLAN routing, Etherlighting port identification and a touchscreen with AR management complete the set. Note: this is a full-depth unit — it requires a 4-post rack, or a centre-mount bracket or cantilever shelf on 2-post racks, for optimal support.
