A flexible 5-port, Layer 2 PoE switch for indoor and outdoor use, powered by PoE++ — cameras and access points outside, without a power outlet nearby. Price on request — contact us for a quote.
The Flex is the outdoor PoE switch: five gigabit ports — four at PoE+ and one at PoE++ — in a compact 230 g box that mounts on a desktop, a wall or a pole and is rated for outdoor use, so it can sit at the edge of a site powering cameras and access points where running mains power would be costly or impractical. It is itself powered by PoE++ input, so a single cable from an upstream PoE++ switch carries both its data and its power. The PoE budget it can hand out depends on how it is powered: 46W with a PoE++ switch or 60W PoE adapter input, 20W with PoE+ input, or 8W with plain PoE input — and the 60W PoE adapter is sold separately. Its operating range is wide: -40 to 55° C at full 46W output, and -40 to 65° C at 25W output.
