The Flex 2.5G PoE takes multi-gigabit PoE to the desktop: eight 2.5 GbE ports, every one of them PoE++ capable, with a combination uplink that accepts either a 10 GbE RJ45 connection or a 10G SFP+ module. It suits a room, a desk cluster or a small site where several devices need more than gigabit and PoE power, but the switch itself has to sit anywhere — not in a rack. Power is flexible by design: the switch itself runs on PoE+++ input or an AC adapter, and the PoE budget it can hand out depends on how it is powered — 76W on PoE+++ input, 46W on PoE++ input, 16W on PoE+ input, or 196W with a 210W AC adapter. Actual PoE availability may vary with input cable length and quality, and the AC adapter is sold separately, so size the input for the devices you plan to power.
