The Flex Mini is the smallest switch in the UniFi range: five gigabit ports in a 107 mm, 150 g box that runs on a USB-C adapter — included with single-unit purchases — or a PoE input from an upstream switch. It suits a desk, a hotel room, a kiosk or any spot where a few wired devices need a switch but there is no rack, no cabinet and sometimes no power outlet nearby. As a Layer 2 switch it handles VLANs and switching, while routing between VLANs is left to the site's gateway. Management is through the UniFi Network application. Note: this is a non-PoE switch — it takes power in, but does not supply PoE to endpoints.
