The Lite 8 PoE is the entry point of the UniFi switch range: 8 gigabit ports, 4 of them PoE+ with a 52W budget when used with the included external 60W adapter, in a pocket-sized 295 g box that sits on a desk or mounts on a wall. It suits a home office, a single room or a small shop running one or two access points and a camera. Fanless cooling keeps it silent, and as a Layer 2 switch it handles VLANs and switching while routing between VLANs is left to the site's gateway. Management is through the UniFi Network application. Note: like the Lite 16 PoE, it has no SFP uplink ports and no touchscreen.
