The Mission Critical switch is the UPS and the switch in one box: an integrated 368Wh lithium-ion battery keeps PoE flowing to up to 8 devices when mains power fails, so cameras keep recording, access points keep broadcasting and phones keep working through an outage — with no separate UPS to buy, wire or maintain. Eight of its nine gigabit ports supply PoE (four at PoE+, four at PoE++), backed by a 120W budget. At 480 mm deep and 9 kg it is the heaviest switch in this batch — most of that weight is the battery — and it mounts in a 1U rack space. An external 48V DC battery input extends backup further, and Layer 3 switching handles inter-VLAN routing on the switch. Management is through the UniFi Network application, with a touchscreen on the front panel for local status.
