The Pro XG 8 PoE brings XG throughput to the desktop: eight 10 GbE ports, every one of them PoE++ capable, with a 155W budget and two 10G SFP+ uplinks, in a compact 210 mm-wide box that sits on a desk or mounts on a wall. It suits a studio, a media room or a small office where a handful of devices need 10G speed and PoE power together — WiFi 7 access points, high-bitrate cameras, multi-gig workstations. Etherlighting ports show location, speed, link and VLAN at a glance, Layer 3 switching handles inter-VLAN routing on the switch, and management is through the UniFi Network application. Note: unlike its rack siblings, this compact model has no touchscreen and no RPS power-backup input.
