The Switch 24 PoE is the small-office standard: 24 gigabit ports, 16 of them PoE+ with a 95W budget, and two 1G SFP uplinks, in a compact 200 mm-deep chassis that fits shallow racks and wall cabinets. Fanless cooling keeps it silent and removes the most common moving-part failure, so it suits reception areas, classrooms and small server corners. As a Layer 2 switch it handles VLANs and switching, while routing between VLANs is left to the site's gateway or an upstream Layer 3 switch. Management is through the UniFi Network application, with a touchscreen on the front panel for local status. Note: this model has no Etherlighting and no RPS power-backup input.
