Ubiquiti UniFi U7 Long-Range WiFi 7 Access Point
The Long-Range is the coverage pick among the standard indoor ceiling models: its 3x3 5 GHz radio and higher-gain design stretch a single unit to about 160 m², the widest ceiling coverage in this pack's indoor range. The trade is the missing 6 GHz band — this is a dual-band unit, so buyers who need 6 GHz should choose a Pro model. It runs on ordinary PoE, which makes it easy to add to an existing switch. FAQ
Answers to common questions about this product.
It is a coverage-oriented ceiling model with higher-gain antennas and a 5 GHz radio that runs 3x3, giving 5 spatial streams in total and about 160 m² (1,750 ft²) of coverage — the widest ceiling coverage in the standard U7 indoor range.
No. The U7 Long-Range is dual-band WiFi 7 (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz only). If 6 GHz support is a requirement, choose a Pro model instead.
Up to 4.3 Gbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, with 300+ clients. It uses a single 2.5 GbE RJ45 uplink.
Standard PoE (802.3af), up to 14W — the lowest power draw among the ceiling models in this pack except the Lite — so it works from ordinary PoE switch ports.
Ø175.7 x 43 mm and 448 g, ceiling or wall mounted with a plastic mounting plate included. "Long-Range" is a planning description, not a guarantee through concrete walls or across floors.
