The U7 Pro is the baseline tri-band WiFi 7 ceiling access point and the reference model for the whole family: six streams across 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz, a 2.5 GbE uplink and capacity for 300+ clients in a standard ceiling disc. It suits offices, schools, hotels and larger homes that want 6 GHz support without paying for 10 GbE backhaul or 4x4 5 GHz density. Everything else in the ceiling range is a step from this unit in one direction — more 5 GHz capacity (Pro Max), a faster uplink (Pro XG/XGS), more range (Long-Range) or a lower entry point (Lite). The standard tri-band WiFi 7 ceiling access point in the U7 family: 6 spatial streams, 6 GHz support, a 2.5 GbE uplink and 300+ client capacity for offices, schools, hotels and larger homes.
2x2 MU-MIMO on each band — 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz — with peak rates of 5.8 Gbps on 6 GHz, 4.3 Gbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, and about 140 m² (1,500 ft²) of coverage.
PoE+ power, up to 21W, through its single 1/2.5 GbE RJ45 port. A PoE injector is not included as standard, so use a PoE+ switch port or a compatible injector.
Ceiling or wall mounted with a Pro Mount included. It measures Ø206 x 46 mm and weighs 680 g.
Step up to the Pro Max when 5 GHz capacity and client density are the constraint (4x4 5 GHz, 500+ clients, spectral scanning), or to the Pro XG/XGS when the wired uplink must be 10 GbE. For ordinary tri-band coverage, the U7 Pro is the baseline.
