The WAN Switch RJ45 is the copper twin of the SFP+ WAN Switch: same job — linking two Shadow Mode gateways to one ISP for instant failover — but with 10 GbE RJ45 ports instead of SFP+ cages, so sites already wired with Cat6A or better can run the WAN edge on standard Ethernet cabling with no transceivers to buy. The three 10 GbE ports carry the gateway links and the ISP uplink, with a gigabit RJ45 port for management or a slower link. Dual AC inputs give the switch itself power redundancy, and the 1U rack form factor matches the gateways it serves. Like its SFP+ sibling, this is a four-port WAN-edge device, not a general-purpose access switch.
